Get in Touch

Caribou County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, locate a person, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. For a live answer or a copy, contact the agency or court that holds the record.

Start With the Record Holder

The current Caribou County Sheriff site identifies the jail and booking desk, but its detention page does not show a public roster or booking-photo search. Call before visiting because the checked source pages do not publish a complete office-hours schedule.

Caribou County Sheriff and Jail

Sheriff main: (208) 547-2561

The Sheriff’s public-records request form asks for a detailed description, contact information, delivery preference, and electronic signature. Its example includes reports and photos. Give the agency a date range, arresting agency, location, incident or case number when known, and the exact record sought. Ask for the legal basis for any withholding or redaction and for an estimate before work that may carry a charge.

For the public-record framework, read Idaho Code section 74-102, section 74-103, and the Idaho Attorney General’s public-records guidance. Fees and response timing depend on the request, requester status, redactions, and agency practice.

Which Office Handles Which Question?

Use the record type and custody system to choose a contact. A third-party index cannot confirm that a person is in the Caribou County Jail.

  • For a Caribou booking sheet, release or transfer record, or booking photograph, start with the Sheriff booking desk and public-records form. The county records page explains the full request and fallback path.
  • For a possible warrant or post-release supervision question, use the Wanted Fugitives page for the Sheriff, court, and safety-routing limits.
  • For a Soda Springs Police report or city-held photo, use the city’s Public Information Request Form and select the City Police Department. The form lists the city at 9 West 2nd South, Soda Springs, ID 83276, and describes possible copy, staff-time, legal-review, and electronic-record charges.
  • For a Grace or Bancroft city record, contact the city office first, then ask the Sheriff to route a booking request. The Sheriff patrol page says county patrol serves both communities, and no separate municipal police listing was found in the checked ISP directory.
  • For a public case number, hearing, filed charge, or disposition, use the Idaho iCourt Portal or the Caribou County clerk. Sealed and exempt cases may not appear.
  • For state custody, probation, or parole, use the Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search. For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator when its identity rules fit.
